Local Communities

BNSF Railway and its predecessors have been an important part of the communities we serve and operate through for more than a century. We grew and developed together. Now we face new challenges and opportunities to work together again to use railroads to help improve our economy and the environment. The Communities Outreach section has been designed to identify many of those challenges and to provide some ideas as to the opportunities we have to work together to address them for everyone’s benefit.
