Intermodal Storage free time and charges apply to equipment held at a BNSF facility from notification to out gate. Notification occurs when BNSF advises the notify party that the equipment is available. Storage charges begin accruing when free time expires. BNSF facilities are tiered into three groups with specific free times and daily storage charges.

Free time at BNSF Facilities

Group 1	Notification day + 24 hours
Group 2	Notification day + 48 hours
Group 3	Notification day + 48 hours

If notification occurs after 5p.m., the day of notification is the following day. Storage charges begin accruing the first 12:01 a.m. after free time has expired. The daily storage rates at BNSF facilities are as follows:

Customer Notifications

Get the latest customer notifications on extended equipment use and services.

All storage charges must be paid on equipment before it leaves BNSF property. Charges can be paid through BNSF Storage Web tool (a secured www.BNSF.com application) by either credit card or guarantee. Cash, cashiers or certified checks are not accepted at the gate. Any billing issues can be filed on-line through BNSF's Storage or Account Status Web tool. To access the tool, login here.

It's easy to obtain information regarding your shipment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using our bnsf.com Tools or our voice automation system. Just give us a call and register for a PIN.

To receive a BNSF PIN, you can send an e-mail from your company e-mail address to this e-mailBNSF%20PIN;pin;bnsf.com with the following information:

• Name (Mr./Ms./Mrs., First, MI, Last)
• Title
• Company name
• Company address (city, state, postal code, country)
• Work phone number (including area code)

For generic e-mail addresses such as yahoo.com and hotmail.com, please fax your e-mail on company letterhead to 800-686-2545.

You'll receive your BNSF PIN 24 to 48 hours to after submitting your request.

Forgot your PIN

• If you have an existing PIN you've lost or forgotten, submit a PIN Request and we'll help you find it. You'll be asked to enter your e-mail address. Then our automated system will send your PIN to the e-mail address you entered.
• Also, if you have a bnsf.com username and password, you can login to the website and check your profile for PIN information.
