Alexander Joins BNSF in Technology Services Role

Stan Alexander joined BNSF on Feb. 1 as assistant vice president (AVP), Technology Services.

Alexander will replace Beth Bonjour, AVP, Technology Services, who is retiring June 1. Alexander will help support BNSF's information systems architecture and infrastructure systems operations.

Alexander has worked with a wide range of companies in the technology services field. As a Feld Group consultant from 1992-1997 at BNSF, Alexander was the chief technology architect leading the architecture and systems integration of the former Burlington Northern and Santa Fe. He worked on similar projects at the Home Depot, Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola and other companies while with the Feld Group.

Alexander served as the global chief technology officer and vice president of Technology Strategy and Architecture with EDS/Hewlett-Packard and, most recently, in a similar role at FedEx. Alexander's prior experience also includes employment with CSX and Bellcore, the regional research and development arm of the regional Bell operating companies.

Alexander begins his responsibilities at BNSF on Feb. 1 and will transition with Bonjour and the rest of the Technology Services AVP team over the next several months.
