Langston Named Assistant Vice President, Service Design

Douglas Langston has been named assistant vice president, Service Design, succeeding Tom G. Williams, who was recently named assistant vice president, Industrial Products Sales.

Langston joined Burlington Northern, a BNSF predecessor, in 1989 as a management trainee. During his career with BNSF he has held various roles in the Marketing organization with progressive leadership responsibility. Most recently, he held the positions of general director, Marketing, and assistant vice president, Intermodal and Automotive Equipment. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas A & M University and a Master's of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. Langston will report to Rollin Bredenberg, vice president, Service Design and Performance.
