Telly Award Goes to BNSF Video News

BNSF has received another 2010 Telly Award, this time for BNSF Video News in the Online Category for Employee Communications.

BNSF received two additional 2010 Telly Awards earlier this year for two other video programs: "The Joint Operations Update" and "2008: A Historic Year."

This latest Telly, given in a relatively new Online Category, was announced a few weeks ago.

BNSF Video News is produced by Corporate Relations under the direction of Paul Parisot, director, Video/Interactive Communications. Topics featured include safety, employee recognition, service, maintenance and expansion projects, public policy and community outreach. Parisot said a variety of videos were submitted as part of the contest entry to show the range of information shared with employees through BNSF Video News.

The videos are distributed through BNSF News and BNSF-TV. The videos can also be viewed on the Communications subtab on the portal, and several have been posted on bnsf.com for external audiences.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier national award honoring outstanding TV commercials and programs, corporate and independent film and video productions, and groundbreaking Web commercials, videos and films. Winners represent the best work of leading advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments.
