Farmer Named Vice President, Domestic Intermodal

Katie Farmer will join the Consumer Products team as vice president, Domestic Intermodal, succeeding George Duggan, who has been named vice president, Coal Marketing.

Farmer joined Burlington Northern, a BNSF predecessor, in 1992 as a corporate management trainee. During her career, she has held a variety of roles with progressive leadership responsibility in customer support, marketing, sales and equipment. Since 2005, Farmer has served as vice president, Industrial Products Sales. She has a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's degree in finance from Texas Christian University.

Farmer will report to Steve Branscum, group vice president, Consumer Products.
