Ring Named Assistant Vice President, Intermodal Hub Operations

Brant Ring has been named assistant vice president, Intermodal Hub Operations, succeeding Michael L. Burke, who is retiring in August.

Ring joined Burlington Northern, a BNSF predecessor, in 1995 as a corporate management trainee. During his career, he has worked in a variety of line and staff roles with progressive leadership responsibility. Ring has been serving as general director, Grain Operations, since 2007. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University.

Ring will report to Fritz Draper, vice president, Business Unit Operations. A successor to Ring will be announced at a later date.
