BNSF Recognized for Donations to Tribal Boys and Girls Clubs

The North Plains Tribes and the Boys and Girls Clubs of American recognized the Montana Division - and BNSF - for donating more than $500,000 to reservation clubs in the past five years.

Rick Bartoskewitz, BNSF general manager, Montana Division, accepted awards on BNSF's behalf from various tribes and groups.

"We have 2,000 employees in Montana, and many of them have a Native American heritage," he said. "We just view this as being a natural extension of that, and it is another way we can support a key initiative in developing the youth."

The BNSF Foundation provided the funds for the clubs. The clubs are also eligible for matching gifts if employees choose to use BNSF's matching gift program.
