Rob Reilly Promoted to Regional Vice President, South Operations
2011-06-02
Rob Reilly has been promoted to regional vice president, South Region, succeeding Bob Lease, who has been named to a new position.
Reilly joined BNSF's predecessor, Santa Fe Railway in 1989. Since then, he has held a number of increasingly responsible leadership positions, including assistant vice president, Best Way Initiatives, and general manager, Chicago Division.
"Rob is a respected leader with extensive transportation experience," said Dave Freeman, vice president, Transportation. “His thorough understanding of transportation processes, and his operating experience will make him an effective leader as we continue to make progress across the South Region."
Reilly will report to Freeman in his new role. A successor to Reilly as assistant vice president, Locomotive Utilization, will be named later.
