Computerworld Names BNSF to Best 100 Places to Work in IT in 2011

BNSF ranked 66th overall and 38th for large companies in Computerworld's annual list of Best Places to Work in IT (Information Technology).

Since 1994, Computerworld has published its "Best Places to Work in IT" listing the top 100 work environments for technology professionals. The list is based on a comprehensive questionnaire on company offerings in categories such as benefits, diversity, career development, training and retention. More than 500 companies were contacted for information.

In addition, 29,000 IT employees were surveyed, and their responses also played a key role in the ranking process. BNSF is the only railroad named on the list.
