BNSF Receives Three Telly Awards for 2011 Video Productions

BNSF has received three Telly awards for video communication productions in 2011 as part of the 33rd Annual Telly Awards competition.
The three BNSF videos receiving Telly honors were:
- Rising Above, a documentary-style video describing the devastating impact of the 2011 floods and how BNSF people met the challenge to maintain and restore service to customers.
- Half the Range of Vision, a safety video describing the requirements for safe train handling during restricted speed.
- Career Opportunities in Fort Worth, a video introducing career opportunities with the railroad to young people from high school. This video was produced in conjunction with Fort Worth Independent School District.
All three videos were produced through Corporate Relations under the direction of Paul Parisot, director, Video/Interactive Communications.
Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honors outstanding TV commercials and programs, corporate and independent film and video productions, and groundbreaking Web commercials, videos and films. Winners represent the best work of leading advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments. More than 11,000 entries were received from 50 states and five continents for the 32nd Annual Telly Awards competition.
