Verizon Increases Discounts; Dell Offers Employees Great Deals

Verizon has increased the BNSF employee discount from 17 percent to 19 percent. Plus, there are discounts on handsets, monthly plans and more.

Taking advantage of this discount is simple; if you are a current Verizon customer receiving the 17-percent discount, your account will automatically be updated to the 19-percent discount within a 60-day cycling period. New activations will receive the 19-percent discount automatically.

To register for the BNSF employee discount, please read the following:

• You must be able to show proof of current employment and use the BNSF employee profile number #549224
• Your Verizon Wireless account must be in your name 
• Up to five Verizon Wireless lines are eligible to receive the employee discount; however, all lines must be on the same account 
• Only monthly plans that are $35 or higher are eligible to receive a discount

You can access the Employee Discounts Web site from home or work at employee.bnsf.com. From the My BNSF page, Employee Discounts will be listed in the Inside BNSF channel. At the time of sign-in, you will be prompted to supply your BNSF employee ID and password – you can use either your mainframe or NT password. If you do not currently have a BNSF computer user account, your supervisor should submit User Registration Request Form ISS28294 to set up an account.
