The program attracted more than 300 high school students who wanted to explore career opportunities in engineering and technology. Other prominent national participants included AT&T, Cisco Systems, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, SUN MicroSystems, Teradata and Wabtec Railway Services. In addition, recruiters from nearly 20 colleges including the University of North Texas, Tarrant County College, Grambling University, Florida A&M University, Southern Methodist University, Texas Southern University and more were available to discuss the application and financial aid process with interested students.
