Mrs. Oklahoma 2008 Is Allison Greco, BNSF Employee

On Saturday night, April 12, Allison Greco, who works with BNSF’s Engineering Maintenance Excellence Team, was crowned Mrs. Oklahoma 2008. A native Oklahoman, Greco and her husband, 2d Lt. Anthony Greco, a student pilot for the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Vance AFB, live in Enid, Okla. She will represent Oklahoma in the Mrs. American 2008 pageant in August.

Greco hopes to use this opportunity to raise awareness for cancer advocacy, research and education. She lost her mother to colon cancer when she was 3 years old and wants to encourage others to join the fight against cancer.

Greco has her masters in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and was named the Outstanding Senior in the College of Engineering for her excellence in academics and her leadership in many university activities including serving as chair for the Relay for Life and the Engineering Leadership Roundtable.

"We are very proud of Allison’s accomplishments and look forward to her contributions as she helps us drive the Maintenance Excellence initiative," said Greg Koontz, general director, Maintenance Schedules. Allison began her career at BNSF in June 2007.
