Military Groups Express Thanks for Holiday Express

Several military organizations have recognized BNSF for its support of military personnel and their families on the Holiday Express.

The Seven Seals Award, given to BNSF by the North Dakota Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), is one such award. The Seven Seals Award is ESGR’s highest award; it was created to publicly recognize American employers who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to employees and families of those who have been called to serve. Supportive employers are crucial to maintaining the strength and readiness of the armed forces.

Other groups also expressed their appreciation. These groups included the following:

• Bronze Eagle Award from the Families of the Army National Guard,
• Certificates of appreciation from the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors and from 439th Engineering Battalion, and
• Clock/plaque from the 88th Regional Support Command.
