Judy Carter Appointed Chief Compliance Officer

Judy Carter, senior general attorney, has been appointed as BNSF's chief compliance officer, according to Jim Gallegos, vice president and corporate general counsel.

Carter, who has been a senior general attorney in Law since June 2006, will continue to be responsible for Insider Trading Policy and general compensation matters.

In her new role, Carter will be responsible for legal compliance, which includes implementing BNSF's risk compliance program and being responsible for Code of Conduct certification and general legal compliance efforts at BNSF. She will work closely with Corporate Audit Services. Carter can be reached at company line 352-2352.

The chief compliance officer position will continue to report to Gallegos.
