Service Design and Performance Web Update Benefits Internal Customers

Service Design and Performance's Web site has been redesigned and enhanced to provide improved navigation and ease of use.

The enhanced site, which will continue to be found here when it launches, will provide users with the same reports and tools they have today.

"We wanted to help our internal customers find the information they need more quickly," said John Orrison, assistant vice president, Service Performance. "This Web update should make our site easier to navigate."

The site, while still containing many of the same links and menus, is slightly different. These tips should help internal customers feel more comfortable using the updated site.

• The "Search" feature allows visitors to search the Service Design Web site using key words.
• Service Design departments are broken out for easier navigation.
• The site will not have fly-out menus, which is a change from the previous site.
• All the links were transferred over to the new site and have the same menus.
• The menus and links will now flow vertically; the old site used a horizontal layout.
• A new Gathering and Distribution (G&D) section will add G&D specific reports and tools.
