Private Car Rule Changes for Non Hazardous
Material
Effective September 1, 2007, BNSF will revise the private car rules
for Ag Commodities in rule book BNSF 6004/6005 as follows:
- All private empty car demurrage charges will change to $75 per
day.
- All
empty and loaded private
car charges will be $75 per day.
- Private car demurrage will no longer be averaged.
- Private car charges will begin at 12:01am after first CP notification,
and no additional credits will be granted.
