In order to ensure an equal distribution of tariff cars to our customers, BNSF is currently offering all tariff cars (singles and units) through our General Tariff Lottery Program. The program will consist of three (3) mini-lotteries for both single and unit requests each month.

The want dates available for tariff cars will be divided into three (3) 10-day periods for each month.

BNSF will offer tariff cars as follows:

Period 1 -November 1-10:
From Monday, October 8 through Wednesday, October 10.

Period 2 - November 11-20:
From Monday, October 15 through Wednesday, October 17.

Period 3 - November 21-30:
From Monday, October 22 through Wednesday, October 24.

BNSF will offer approximately 667 cars for each period of October.

Outstanding car orders that have not been awarded must be re-submitted to retain their priority.
