Kevin Kaufman, group vice president, Agricultural Products, announced that John Miller has been appointed assistant vice president, Agricultural Products, effective March 3, 2008.

“John brings to BNSF a wealth of experience and a strong agribusiness background,” says Kaufman in making the announcement.

Miller comes to BNSF with more than 25 years in the agricultural industry, including executive positions with Continental Grain Company, Bartlett and Company and, most recently, the Scoular Company. In his most recent role, Miller served on BNSF’s Customer Advisory Board.

A graduate of Harvard University, Miller also has served as chairman of the North American Export Grain Association and was on the board of the National Grain and Feed Association.
