BNSF will adjust Southern wheat rates in BNSF 4022-L as follows:

Feb 1, 2008:

• 26 car light axle rates (268,000 lb GWOR) will be added back to the following Items at a $50 discount to the single car rate: 43581, 43586, 44100, 45674, 45675, 46100, 46200, 46600, 47050, 47100, 47600, 47640, 47643, and 47700. 26 cars rates will require pre-advise for a single destination at the time the car order is placed.

June 1, 2008:

• Light axle rates (268,000 lb GWOR) will increase $75 per car for all unit sizes (exceptions listed below). For combination Items 44100, 44300, 46100, 46300, 46600 and 47600, the above increase will apply to origin rates only.
• Item 44100 - Origin rates will increase $175.
• Item 46100 - The light axle Gulf overage will increase an additional $100. Boise City and Keyes, OK will be deleted from Note 0002. The San Antonio overage will increase $200. SD origins will increase $125.
• Items 46300 - The San Antonio overage will increase $200. SD origins will increase $125. The Mexico overages for Group 0059 (Mexico City area), Route 2840 will increase $200 and Group 0059, Route 4458 will increase $100. Reminder: All rates are subject to change on 20 days notice. COTs do not protect joint line rates.
• The light axle DET rates in Items 44300, 46300 and 47300 will increase an additional $100.

Rates in Items 47100 and 47300 will not be affected. All heavy-axle (286,000 lb GWOR) wheat rates will continue to be set at a 9% premium to the new light-axle rates listed above.
