Effective April 24, 2008, the COTS Tariff BNSF 4091 will be amended to incorporate the following:

-COT Units will be based on 24 car lots. The COT prepay requirement will remain at $200 per car; the prepay for a Unit will be $4,800.
-When a purchaser elects to lock in the tariff rate for the future shipping in place on the acceptance date, and in the event BNSF makes changes to the fuel surcharge of general applicability after the acceptance date, BNSF reserves the right to adjust the tariff rate to reflect the change upon notification.
-Year-long COTS may be purchased for terms of one, two and three year durations.
-Rice will be eligible to move under the COTS program.
