Barley Tariff Restructured
The barley tariff has been restructured to simplify it and reflect current markets, origins and destinations. All joint line rates have been eliminated and those destinations will now move Rule 11 from the various interchanges.
The following items reflect the changes made with the balance of the items being cancelled. These changes will be effective September 1,2008.
The attachments will outline the new structures and rates.
- 21007 is a restructured combination item utilizing former 21007,21008,21010 and 21301
- 21012 added origins with some rate changes
- 21161 will increase 100/car 12/1/08
- 21170 to Great Falls and Spiritwood will replace 21341 and 21352. There will be an increase to this new rate structure of 100/car on 12/1/08
- 21255 has been rescaled and San Ysidro interchange replaced with San Diego
- 21361 has been rescaled
- 21365 increased 150/car
- 22100 has a 200/car increase 9/1/08 followed by another 100 to 300/car increase on 12/1/08
- 22401 has been restructed and now included CA/OR/WA and BC and there will be an increase of 100/car on 12/1/08
