During the past few months, BNSF has been able to accommodate many short-notice Tariff equipment requests. However, as we look forward we believe that BNSF’s railcar supply and demand will come into closer balance, restricting our ability to provide the same short-notice Tariff railcar ordering flexibility.

We strongly encourage customers to reserve needed capacity through BNSF’s COT and/or Tariff Lottery programs for the months of July and beyond. Furthermore, in keeping with long-established policy we reserve the right to suspend the out-of-Lottery Tariff car program immediately upon ACRES notice publication. Please note that Tariff Lottery for FP July will take place this week, with requests due by midnight Wednesday, June 3.
