Price Adjustments Effective October 1, 2009

In addressing our customers’ needs for reliable and efficient service, BNSF continues to invest in our infrastructure and in our efforts to manage escalating costs. We review and adjust our transportation rates based on market conditions and to support our on-going investment and maintenance of our extensive network.

In accordance with BNSF’s Industrial Products Price Calendar, rates in BNSF 80020 will be taking price adjustments Effective October 1, 2009, BNSF will increase rates for peanuts, mustard seeds and grocery products, which includes dehydrated potatoes and bakery goods, in BNSF 80020.  For planning purposes, rate increases in BNSF 80020 will average five percent (5.0%).  Certain individual rate increases may exceed or be below announced levels based on market conditions.
