Can Intermodal save you money?

BNSF's model uses published truckload pricing data to estimate your current highway costs, it then compares those highway costs to actual intermodal prices offered by truckload carriers that use BNSF Intermodal services. We provide this analysis to shippers at no cost, and include lane-by-lane savings estimates. A BNSF Intermodal analyst will sit down with your company to answer your questions and help you realize the savings you deserve. Shippers have saved millions of dollars in transportation costs by implementing the results of this tool, and references are available upon request.

BNSF's intermodal services are bundled with truck pickup and delivery services offered by the following carriers. The trailers and containers are supplied by these carriers and BNSF moves the equipment across our Intermodal network (or view a high-level map). We offer two different service levels in most lanes.
