Seamless Service from Asia to US Destinations

The BNSF Port-to-Door service offers customers a seamless Integration of Ocean Shipping, Intermodal Rail, and Direct Door Delivery for shipments coming from Asia into the US. This service helps customers manage the critical last inbound miles to their distribution center, which ultimately improves delivery and increases velocity.

BNSF Port-to-Door service is currently operating at our Alliance, TX and Logistics Park Chicago(LPC), IL intermodal facilities and is ready to expand into additional target markets. With this service offering, international containers are tracked and monitored by our dedicated delivery trucking partners with advance door delivery appointments set up prior to final rail destination. This advanced monitoring and scheduling results in most shipments out gating the intermodal hub within 24 hours of rail deramp. This improved asset velocity reduces storage liability and provides more efficient asset management capability.
