Final Report Train Derailment near Claude TX (Red River Division Red River Valley Subdivision)

On Saturday September 12,2026 at approximately 9:19 P.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Claude, TX which affected the main track. Claude, TX is approximately 30 miles southeast of Amarillo, TX. BNSF field personnel responded and assessed the derailment site. The main track was returned to service on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 3:03 A.M. CDT.
