Overview:The BNSF Carload Transit Schedule Query application is designed to provide BNSF carload customers with an interactive platform to determine BNSF transit time estimates. These transit time estimates can be between local BNSF stations and/or stations where BNSF interchanges cars with other railroads. The transit days and hours produced by this tool represent only BNSF's portion of the trip. This application supports the following browsers
It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. General Tips:If you are unsure of the exact spelling of any BNSF city, simply type its first few letters. After you continue to the next screen, you will be prompted to pick from a list of cities that match. To quickly input a state abbreviation without using the drop down menu, in the box provided type the first letter of the state, and continue to key in that same letter until the state abbreviation you want appears in the box. If you receive the following error; "There is no BNSF station that matches your origin/destination request" verify that the station you have entered is a BNSF station point. BNSF station points include BNSF local point and interchange points BNSF has with other railroads. The BNSF Website contains a complete BNSF Station List as well as detailed maps of our rail system. Remember that this tool is for cities served by BNSF. If your query involves a BNSF shortline partner, you will need to specify the city where BNSF and that shortline connect. In certain cases, the geographical definition of a city and BNSF's operational definition may not be exactly the same. Here are some common origin/destination cities that geographically may not produce a transit time. Please use the alternative city in your transit time request.
