Initial Report: Train Derailment near Caliente, CA (UPRR Mojave Subdivision - California

On Friday, September 12th, 2025 at approximately 01:10 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Caliente, CA which has affected the main track. Caliente, CA is approximately 27 miles southeast of Bakersfield, CA. BNSF personnel are responding to assess the affected area. The opening of the main track has not been determined at this time.
