Final Report: Train Derailment near Rosebud, MT (Forsyth Subdivision)

On Monday, June 16, 2025 at approximately 04:45 p.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Rosebud, MT which has affected the main track. Rosebud, MT is approximately 11 miles east from Forsyth, MT. BNSF personnel are responding to assess the affected area. The main track was returned to service on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 10:45 p.m. CDT.
