BNSF places a high priority on encouraging

affinity groups, as well as our recruiting efforts. Today, BNSF’s salaried workforce
is about 20 percent minority and 20 percent female.
For the sixth year in a row, BNSF was named a “Best Diversity Company” by

. Our
commitment to diversity extends to higher education for minorities through the
BNSF Foundation’s donations to colleges, universities and other organizations,
including the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, the Hispanic
College Fund and the United Negro College Fund.
Military
BNSF remains a top employer for
