BNSF's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer To Address Bear Stearns 2006 Global Transportation Conference

FORT WORTH, Texas, May 2, 2006:

Matthew K. Rose, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF) (NYSE:BNI), will address the Bear Stearns 2006 Global Transportation Conference on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern time.
