BNSF to Host Webcast June 5

FORT WORTH, Texas, May 25, 2006:

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF) (NYSE: BNI) will host a meeting for financial analysts and investors from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday, June 5.

A live Webcast and presentation material will be available on BNSF’s Web site at www.bnsf.com. Those who plan to access the Webcast should access the BNSF site by 2:30 p.m. Eastern time June 5 to download and install any software required to run the presentation.

For those who cannot listen to the live Webcast, a replay will be available on the "Investors" section of BNSF’s Web site about two hours after the conclusion of the meeting.  An MP3 downloadable audio file also will be available at the same location.
