BNSF's Chief Financial Officer to Address Citigroup 21st Annual Transportation Conference

FORT WORTH, Texas, November 7, 2006:

Thomas N. Hund, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF) (NYSE:BNI), will address the Citigroup 21st Annual Transportation Conference on Tuesday, November 14, at 10:55 a.m. Eastern time in New York City.

The presentation will describe BNSF's franchise, growth opportunities and financial results.
