News ReleaseBNSF Named Quality Carrier by Stora Enso North AmericaFORT WORTH, Texas, June 6, 2003:The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) today announced it has received a Quality Carrier Award for the year 2002 from Stora Enso North America, an integrated paper, packaging and forest products company. BNSF currently serves Stora Enso North America throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin and at other facilities in North America. Stora Enso North America gives this award to recognize those carriers that meet or exceed the criteria set forth in their Transportation Quality Program. This is the first year BNSF has been recognized by Stora Enso North America with the Quality Carrier Award, which was last presented to a rail carrier in 1996. Criteria for this award include: safety, on-time service, equipment supply and quality, damage-free service and communication.
