BNSF to Report Second-Quarter Earnings July 22

FORT WORTH, Texas, July 8, 2003 :

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF) (NYSE: BNI) will report its second-quarter 2003 earnings at 8:45 a.m. Eastern Time July 22, 2003, through a Webcast.

Presentation material will be available on BNSF's Web site at www.bnsf.com.
