BNSF Selects Transentric to Provide Intelligent Messaging Services for Customers

FORT WORTH, Texas, July 15, 2003:

The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) today announced it has improved the way it provides seamless, real-time electronic connectivity with its customers through the use of Transentric's Agilink intelligent messaging service.

Agilink helps BNSF map, convert and deliver Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) communications to the format in which its customers want to receive them. This creates considerable cost efficiencies for customers and BNSF by allowing both to conduct more business electronically -- even with previously incompatible EDI systems.
