BNSF's Executive Vice President and CFO To Address 2003 Smith Barney Citigroup Transportation Conference

Thomas N. Hund, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF) (NYSE:BNI), will address the 2003 Smith Barney Citigroup Transportation Conference on Tuesday, November 11, 2003, at 9 a.m. Eastern time.

The presentation will describe BNSF's franchise, intermodal growth initiative and financial outlook.
