BNSF to Host Webcast November 13

FORT WORTH, Texas, November 6, 2003:

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corporation (BNSF) (NYSE: BNI) will host its annual meeting for financial analysts and investors from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, November 13.

A live Webcast and presentation material will be available on BNSF's Web site at www.bnsf.com. We suggest that those who plan to access the Webcast go to the BNSF site by 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time to download and install any software required to run the presentation.

For those who cannot listen to the live Webcast, a replay will be available on the "Investors" section of BNSF's Web site about two hours after the conclusion of the meeting.
