News ReleaseBNSF Logistics Appoints Shannon Boyd Director of Integration and Mark Richards ControllerSPRINGDALE, Ark., April 4, 2005:BNSF Logistics, LLC today announced the appointments of Shannon Boyd as director of integration and Mark Richards as controller. Boyd and Richards both report to Eric Wolfe, vice president and general manager. Boyd is responsible for post-sales integration and implementation of services within the Supply Chain Services product line as well as engineering and consulting initiatives companywide. Richards is responsible for financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, planning and treasury activities. In making the announcement, Wolfe said, "Our employees’ real-world experience in solving problems is a key differentiator for our company. Mark Richards and Shannon Boyd are key examples of that. Shannon Boyd brings a broad range of knowledge to BNSF Logistics operations, including more than 15 years of experience in supply chain management. Mark Richards is a seasoned financial executive with more than 20 years of CFO/Controller experience with both public and privately held companies. His leadership of the financial services sector is critical in our rapidly developing organization. We are thrilled to add their expertise and leadership to an already strong team of professionals." Prior to joining BNSF Logistics, Boyd was vice president of professional services at Transplace. Boyd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education / Business from Arkansas Tech University, a Master of Science in Vocational Education and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas and is a certified Project Management Professional. Richards joined BNSF Logistics in mid 2004. Before joining BNSF Logistics, Richards was with Sonus Corporation as chief financial officer. Richards earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Data Processing from the University of Arkansas.
