Arkansas Midland Railway (AKMD)
Overview
AKMD operates five separate former Union Pacific branch lines in the state of Arkansas and handles over 35,000 cars annually over 142 miles of track. BNSF does not have a direct interchange with AKMD. Traffic is interchanged with the Little Rock & Western, then Union Pacific which interchanges with AKMD.
