Angelina & Neches River Railroad (ANR)
Overview
The ANR was founded when J.H. Kurth, Sr. bought the J.A. Ewing and Company sawmill at Keltys, Angelina County, Texas, in March 1888. ANR operates approximately 12 miles of track from Dunagan, TX to an interchange with the UP at Lufkin, TX. There is no direct connection to BNSF.
