Burlington Junction Railway (BJRY)
Overview
BJRY operates six industrial railroads in the cities of Burlington, Mt. Pleasant and Ottumwa, IA and Quincy, Montgomery and Rochelle, IL where they provide switching services for the City of Rochelle and serve Del Monte. BJRY's first operation with BNSF was to provide switching on former CRIP trackage at the Burlington River Terminal. It also purchased the 2-mile "South Bottoms" line, otherwise known as the "High Line" in 1997. In January 2010, BJRY began operations at Valley Park, MO, site of the former Chrysler plant.
