Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad (CORP)
Overview
CORP operates freight service on a former Southern Pacific line from Eugene through Medford over the Siskiyous and into Yreka, CA. A total of 439 miles were operated originally with traffic primarily consisting of forest products and paper. CORP shut down most of the Coos Bay branch in September 2007 due to damaged tunnels which posed a safety risk. The branch included 120 miles of track between Lane County and Coquille.
