Cimarron Valley Railroad (CVR)
Overview
Purchased from BNSF in 1996, the CVR spans 294 miles of Midwest terrain with interchanges in Boise City, OK and Dodge City, KS. The railroad provides freight service; handling approximately 10,000 carloads per year. Agricultural commodities such as wheat, corn and milo are the primary transports. The line runs through one of the largest corn and wheat producing areas of Kansas.
