Denver Rock Island Railroad (DRIR)
Overview
DRIR serves industries on approximately 7 miles of track on three separate divisions: the Stockyards, Airlawn and Washington Park. DRIR has a direct connection to BNSF at the Stockyards and UP at all three locations. In June 2005 the short line acquired the Stockyards Lead from the UP which extends from 58th Ave. to Race Court. Approximately four miles of the line was formerly operated by the Denver Terminal Railroad.
