Delta Valley & Southern Railway (DVS)
Overview
DVS operates a two mile line in Arkansas from a connection with BNSF in Delpro (38 miles north of Memphis) to Elkins. The line was built in 1887 to serve the timber industry and eventually became part of the Frisco. Today, DVS primarily ships outbound cottonseed.
