Fort Worth & Western Railroad (FWWR)
Overview
The FWWR began in 1988 with the purchase of 6 miles of track from BNSF through the west side of Fort Worth. FWWR now operates over 276 miles of track through 8 counties in north central Texas. The railroad interchanges with the UP and BNSF in Fort Worth, Cleburne and Brownwood. It also has an interchange with the KCS through a bridge connection with BNSF in Fort Worth.
