Iowa Northern Railway (IANR)
Overview
The IANR is located in the heart of the Midwest and primarily hauls grain and ethanol. The short line was formed in 1984 with the liquidation of the assets of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific. IANR operates a total of 163 miles from Manly to Cedar Rapids. No direct interchange exists with the BNSF, however, a connection is possible through the CN at Waterloo.
